Thanksgiving in Seattle ~

Dad and I spent a couple of days in Seattle with all the kids (except Nick, Steve and Cindy and Jason.) It rained the entire time we were there, but I had a lot of handiwork for Christmas that I needed to get done, so it was cozy on the couch and I got it all done. Thanksgiving was awesome! We played dominos (even though Bill cheats - tee hee.) Had a really nice visit with all. I made the hat that Madeline is wearing. She is adorable!

Deep in the heart of Texas with the Hilton Family

Hadley in her birthday apron that I made her! Mark and Kristen asked if I would take their family photos while I was there! It was pretty funny trying to get 5 people to all look at me at the same time. Hadley was not having any of it! She was done basically before we started. But here are some photos from that day! Darn cute kids! Hadley turned 2 that week, Porter is 5 and Cooper will be 8 in February! Hard to believe!

The Hunter Family visit - Christmas night

Allen and I visited each of the kids this Christmas season. We had to divide and conquer because we decided to do it at the last moment. The kids were a little concerned as to why we were coming down on such a spur of the moment deal. We had our reasons and they were all good reasons. This was the last visit of the season - the Hunter Family. I flew in Christmas night to Sacramento and proceed to get lost for 2 hours. I had to keep calling Chad for directions. Nan and Chad knew I was coming but the kids did not! Surprise!! It was great to see them and get a quick hug and take some photos. What a photogenic family they are - I love the one of their "heads stacked!" Love Cyrus' face! Darling family! Love you all!

Piper's Program

Piper started kindergarten last year and this was their first program. Piper was the leader coming down the aisle and she knew her stuff! She was so animated and you could hear her! Adorable! So glad I got to see her perform! We got an encore performance on Christmas Eve! Encore! Encore! The cutest part of the day, besides Piper, of course, was that I drove to Misty and Rick's house and walked to school with their family. As we were walking down Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills people kept pointing at Simon and smiling. He has new glasses and he is so adorable. Acting soon, Simon? Need an agent? I am retired you know!

I was on the aisle and I got a big hug as Piper walked out! It was great!
That's right - ukuleles!!!!

Christmas Eve 2011

It is so cute to see the little cousins playing with each other. To have grandchildren and great granchildren playing together is just amazing! Rylee apparently cracks Simon up. Caleb and Piper have a blast together. My camera was giving me fits on Christmas eve, so I didn't get all the shots I wanted, but not bad. I thought I had more of Ken and Alisha?

Each of the little kids also got a wallhanging with their names on it - pockets to put stuff in. They were fun to make.
I made all the little girls matching "Olivia" fabric skirts!
This was a first for us - eating in the front room.

Simon said the blessing on the food and I was just truly expecting "and God bless us, everyone!" So darn sweet!

Seems like only last year when they were little and putting this train together. Man, time goest too fast!

Look what Santa left Grandpa and I? Awesome gifts!
Another ukulele convert! Yeah!

Five Golden Rings!!!
