From our yard

I got a new lens today and I was taking pictures - Allen asked me I had seen the roses on the side of the house - I had not. Look what I was missing. Wow! I love the light and the water drops.

Not a poppy - but just gorgeous

We went to Julian, California and I just loved these flowers. I don't know what they are called, but aren't they delicate looking? Who knows what they are called. I also saw and smelled lilacs while we were there - what a great memory that was.

Time for a sunset ~

This was an amazing sunset - after the sun went down the reflection came back up in rectangular shapes and just flowed toward us. I was glad Carole was there to witness this. I even gave you the time of the sunset.

A carpet of poppies

I thought this would give you a vetter idea of how thick the poppies are and I love the purple in the middle of all this orange.

I love this farm with the poppies

My camera did not work (dead batteries, ugh) so I took this with Allen's camera. I love this farm - I could shoot here all day! It was private property however.
