And the desert shall blossom like a rose ~

This is the Huntington Library cactus gardens. Marci and I went last week and the flowers were beautiful, but the cacti were just amazing. We also visited "Pinkie" and "Blue Boy" while we were there. These were Mom's favorite paintings. The last picture is of a darling little bug. Never seen one like it. He liked posing for me.

Beautiful!

And find out what that bug is. Piper and I found one of the those walking on the floor of our living room the other day. Piper yelled, "Spider, spider," or as she says it, "Fider, fider."

By the way, yesterday she told me at breakfast, "I love you but there's something wrong with you." What a crackup!

Had such a wonderful time. You are both the best hosts in the world. Loved the library and the desert plants were absolutely stunning - - go figure. Thanks again for everything; it was just the right prescription.

Love you mucho.
