A little LA history

This is the Angels Flight - it was the shortest funicular in the country. For 25 cents you could take it to the top of the hill. See those stairs on the left? Believe me 25 cents was a bargain.

I had taken Sean, Robbie and Brittiany on this years ago and the following week it crashed and killed a woman and it has been closed ever since. Very sad! I wish they still had the cable car there just for photography purposes at least.

Across the street is the Grand Central Market and it is a kick! Open market with everything you could ever want.
