I took the 4 kids downtown LA on the metro and taught them how to read the metro map and how to get from one stop to another. It was great fun - however, at the end of the trip grandma had quite the surprise - I thought you purchased one way tickets for each person and you could ride for the two hours - actually you had to purchase either a day pass or tickets at each color rail - so at the end of the trip I had to buy 5 day passes at $5 each or pay $25o fine per person - let's see, let me do the math - carry the one - okay, I bought the passes.
